Yep, I am still alive.

My life has taken so many dramatic turns the last few months that I could not even get into it without dividing this post into chapters, not that I would want to anyways, as many of those chapters are things I would never in my entire life like to go through again. In many ways the last 5 months or so have been a terriple apex of a path unknowingly taken years ago. I made it through and I am determined to reshape my life, as well as rediscover things which mattered much to me once.

Painting took an unfortunate back seat to my life for the last 3 years, a back seat that was left -outside- the car as it sped away erraticaly in seemingly random directions, none under my control I now realize. But posting this here after all these years is my sort of self-note and commitment to get back into something that meant so much to me, as well as a not so short way of saying 'I'm back!'

For all those friends I disapeared from, I am so sorry, I won't even try to make excuses.

They (paintings) will come slowly, very slowly at first, as I struggle to find time amidst all the loose ends that need to be tied, but come they will!
